Hale & Hearty is a series of food or small retail spaces that sell soups, sandwiches and other casual food with a strong emphasis on healthy, natural ingredients. A cleaner design, more evocative, worked for the chain, which continues to serve its lunch and daytime market in Manhattan. We designed a store that reflected the ideals of Hale and Hearty; fresh and high quality ingredients. Natural materials, organic color scheme and the ingredients are literally displayed in acrylic wall panels consisting of lentils, red lentils, split peas etc. TCA developed the prototype over the course of five stores.
